The BETSI consortium presented a poster entitled “A large database on functional traits for soil ecologists: BETSI” at the FAO conference: Global Symposium on Soil Biodiversity (GSOBI21). It highlighted the taxonomic coverage of BETSI and the interlinkage between the edaphobase data portal and BETSI, being addressed in the EUdaphobase COST Action.

The EUdaphobase COST Action officially closed on 9 March 2024. However, other COST Actions are still running and may be joined. To do so please first read the guidelines in this Link and contact the chair of the Action. In your message, please specify which Working Group you would like to join.

Nonetheless, the Edaphobase data warehouse on soil biodiversity is still being maintained and run by the Secnckenberg Society of Nature Research. The data warehouse remains permanently open for data submissions. To submit data, click on the link below.
