Working Groups 5 and 6 launches two new EUdaphobase projects

A joint working group meeting was held at the Jožef Stefan Institute (JSI) Dec. 2nd in Ljubljana with scientists from Center for Soil and Environmental Science University of Ljubljana (WG5) and JSI (WG6). They discussed a stakeholder questionnaire (WG5), which will request specific stakeholder needs to be provided by a soil biodiversity database. The JSI staff will use AI methodology (WG6) to analyse the questionnaire data.

As one of many EU projects on soil biodiversity and ecosystem services a project of making the Slovenian EcoFINDERS data accessible on Edaphobase is in the making.

Both the questionnaire analysis and the Slovenian soil data are new proposals for a VM and an STSM.

Jurij Marinko WG6, Vid Podpecan WG6, Kristina Ocvirk WG5, Marko Debeljak WG6, Metka Suhadolc WG5.
In addition Tanja Dergan WG6.
